Gluten-Free Baklava with Pistachio
Gluten-Free Baklava is produced for the special diets of celiac patients and for gluten-free diets.
Celiac is a long-term disease that primarily affects the small intestines. These allergic reactions cause a lifetime tenderness inside the small intestines against the protein called gluten, available in cereals such as wheat, barley, and rye.
Studies have been conducted with the Society of Living with Celiac, and sampling was performed by the patients.
The amount of gluten is not more than 20mg/kg based on the measured dry substance.
Other ingredients used in this product, except for flour, are the same as the taste quality of normal Baklava.
Adding even only two spoons of gluten into a ton of gluten-free product may cause dangerous results for the patients.
Therefore, it is very important that gluten-free products should not be contaminated with any amount of gluten.
First of all, we have organized a special production site and a separate warehouse in our firm to prevent food at risk of containing gluten from being in the same location as gluten-free food.
Gluten-Free Baklava was baked in a separate oven from the other products. Furthermore, the required training was given to our personnel regarding celiac disease.
Gluten-Free Baklava is offered to our customers using a separate division and equipment in our showroom.
Consumption under doctor control is recommended.

Consuming Tips:
1) For the best experience, warm the product for 5-7 minutes at a low temperature in a fan oven; avoid using a microwave.
2) Alternatively, you can warm it on a stovetop.
3) Only warm the amount you plan to eat.
4) Store in the fridge or freezer only in an airtight container.
5) Do not store baklava in the fridge or freezer without airtight sealing.
Store in a cool and dry place.
Avoid direct sunlight.
Keep away from humid environments.

I am SO happy I found Grand Turkish Bazaar. Ever since I was diagnosed Celiac (almost 10 years ago), I struggle finding Middle Eastern desserts with GF options. Our community in general lacks awareness and education about allergens, and we don’t do a good job catering to a growing population of people with gut issues. Which is why I was ecstatic when I found this place which offers GF baklavas! I haven’t had baklavas in almost a decade, and I used to love them. After reading reviews, I felt confident enough to order a box online. Their service and product is excellent! I received these goodies within a week (during Ramadan!) and they were fresh, tasty, on point, and extremely gluten free! I ordered the pistachio box but will soon be going back for a walnut one. This company does a tremendous job on adapting this delicious dessert and ensuring its safety for those with Celiac. The pastry layers were not as light, thin, flakey as the typical phyllo dough. Be prepared for that part. I recommend the pistachio Baklava!
