Virgin Honey refers to the new bee colony created by the young queen and young worker bees who separated from the existing bees living as a colony in the spring. The proliferation of bee colonies occurs with swarming bees. The honey harvested from the son bee colony in the first year is called “Virgin Honey”.

What makes Organic Virgin honey, obtained from many flowers, special is that it is the first honey produced when the colony is at its youngest when the hive is forming. It is such a special honey that our grandfathers loved us as their son’s honey.

The bee colony multiplies by swarming. The young bee colony that leaves the hive looks for a new hive. The first honey they produce in the new hive they found for themselves is swarm honey. Honey produced from the same hive for the second time is not son honey. One of the features that makes this honey special is that it is the first honey produced by this young colony, which can produce higher enzymes, and the quality of the honey differs accordingly. In the past, families engaged in beekeeping generally did not give their honey to anyone and kept it for themselves and consumed it. Since there are more hives and more new colonies are formed, relatively more can be produced.

However, it is still very rare and has a limited production. It is a very special honey, both traditionally and in terms of quality.
