The Desert is excellent and just as I remember it from 40 yrs ago. Back in the day there was an Italian Delicatessen that had all manor of delights from great Pastrami Sandwiches to Gourmet Delicacies. One of the items I when in town would have was that sandwich a Black Cherry Natural Soda and several blocks of this desert. Back then it was made as a log, like a dry salami. The logs were cut in =to various lengths and sold by their weight. Not having been in the area fro years I hope to find it again there at their delicatessen, but that was not to be. In fact upon inquiry they didn’t remember it or what it was called. So, I am so glad I found it again. Thank You.
