Assorted Flavoured Akide Hard Candy

Traditional Turkish Hard Candy.
Made by the Original Producer of Akide: Haci Bekir.
Free from preservatives.

Akide Candy is a traditional Turkish sweet, known for its small, hard, and colorful pieces sold unwrapped in jars.

Made from sugar syrup with citric acid and cream of tartar, the mixture is carefully flavored, boiled, and shaped into its iconic candy form.

These candies come in a variety of vibrant colors and flavors. While some are clear and translucent, others have a solid white appearance, showcasing the rich heritage of Turkish confectionery.

Ingredients

Mixed seasoned flavored sugar candy (bergamot, pineapple, lemon, rose, strawberry, cinnamon, orange), sugar, acidity regulator (E 336, E 330), and nature-identical aromas (0.2%) according to the type (bergamot, pineapple, lemon, rose, strawberry, cinnamon, and orange).

Excellent. I was already aware of these sweets which I love. Unfortunately didn’t have time to get to the Hacı Bekir store on my recent visit to Istanbul, so was delighted to find that I could now buy online from the UK. Have to comment that the service from grandturkishbazaar.com was exemplary. Ordered late Friday evening and it was despatched from Istanbul on Saturday, arriving with me in the UK on the Monday, well packed and in excellent fresh condition. Excellent communication throughout. Well done.
