I hope you don’t mind my honesty. These candied chestnuts were much less expensive than the ones I’ve bought from France or Italy, but they were not very good. The texture was very different. The chestnuts seemed mealy and lacked flavor. I guess if no one had tried the other imports, for the price, these are a decent value. The presentation, by the way, was lovely.
