The flavor I was really hoping for, when I’ve read the descriptions for pomegranate molasses. But the ones that were available locally all had added sugar. After learning more about the process and the history of Turkish pomegranate sour (not sour, unsweetened ) molasses, I realized I needed to experience the real deal. That is what led me to this website and this product. Not a letdown, but a major revelation for my taste buds and cooking experiences from here out.
Really loaded with so much flavor, tart and sweet, but not overly so.
I’ve used it in a few dishes and it adds serious depth to the recipes.
I will definitely purchase more.
