Never had Churchkhela before. My family lived on Cyprus in the Mediterranean during 1950s. I was 3-4. Mom had a wonderful candy on a string – a bit chewy with what I recalled was almonds and grape candy on a string. Now as a 77-year-old trying to recall what that candy was, the closest I’ve ever come is this churhkhela walnut grape candy on a string. It is not what I’ve always looked for, but is a very flavorful, fresh, candy from Turkey & not fake stuff that’s available. Quick shipping of a fresh authentic product is a great word for these folks.

Perfect quality, extremely fresh! Much better and fresher than when bought from a local Turkish shop in London. I have bought this churchkhela from Grand Turkish Bazaar website before and it was always excellent quality, so I will continue to buy from them and recommend to all my friends. And the price is reasonable, considering FREE DHL shipping to the UK (for orders over £100). Overall I am very happy with everything.
