APRICOT JAM TIP POINTS
The first step in making apricot jam is the purchase of apricots. Fragrant apricots are important in jam making. You should also prefer apricots that are not too soft but not too hard. While boiling the apricot jam, you should throw away the foams formed on it with the help of a wooden spoon. Finally, do not forget to fill your jam in jars while it is cold and close their mouths tightly.
APRICOT JAM RECIPE
- 2 kilos of apricots
- 2 pounds of sugar
- Half a teaspoon of lemon powder
How is it done?
We start the recipe by washing the apricots. Remember that you should start making jam the night before. Wash the apricots, remove the seeds, cut them into the size you want and put them in a deep pot. Pour 1 kilogram of sugar on the apricots in the pan and close the lid. Put it on hold until morning. Wait in the morning and take the apricots, which are candied and extract, to the stove.
Your apricot jam will be cooked for about 45 minutes. If you wish to avoid souring the foams formed on it while cooking, take it with a spoon and throw it away. Add your lemon salt 10 minutes before removing your boiling jam from the stove. After your jam thickens, remove it from the heat and let it cool. Take the cooled jams in jars and close them tightly. Thus, its life will be longer.
