Ingredients for Fig Jam Recipe
- 1 kilogram of green figs
- 1 kilogram of powdered sugar
- 1 lemon juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5 pieces of carnations
- 2 cups of water

It is recommended to keep the jam at room temperature. When choosing figs, make sure they are fresh and ripe. Squeezing lemon into boiling jam helps the jam to melt and thicken.

Boiling on low heat is the most appropriate method for the consistency of the jam to settle properly and to absorb its flavor into the fruits.
How to Make whole Fig Jam Recipe?
Boil the figs that you have washed and peeled until they soften a little.
Strain the boiled figs and squeeze one by one to extract the bitter juice.
Place the figs that you have extracted the bitter juice in the pot. Place the cloves and cinnamon sticks between the figs.
Add the powdered sugar and let the figs stand for 4 hours in a sealed pan at room temperature to release the juice.
After adding 2 glasses of water little by little to the figs that are waiting with granulated sugar and releasing their water, cook it on low heat without mixing too much so that the figs do not scatter.
Cook for about 45 minutes by checking the consistency of the boiling jam from time to time.
Add the lemon juice, continue the cooking process for another 10 minutes, then remove the jam from the stove.
Fill the jars with marinated jam that you have kept at room temperature. After it cools down completely, keep it by closing the lids.
You can now make room for fig jam in your breakfast.
