• Materials for making
• 1 kilogram of sour cherries
• 1 kilogram of granulated sugar
• Juice of half a lemon
• 2 dried cloves

How to make sour cherry jam recipe?

If you wish, you can pick the sour cherries or leave them with seeds.
Put half the sour cherries in the pan and pour half the sugar on top.
Put the remaining sour cherries on the sugar and finally spread all the sugar over the sour cherries.
Cover the pot and let it sit for a few hours to water.
If it is not diluted enough, you can add a little water.
When the sour cherries release their water, take them to the stove.
Start boiling the jam over low heat by adding the cloves to the pot to give it aroma.
Cook on low heat until the jam becomes thick.
After getting the consistency, add the lemon juice and boil for another 5 minutes.
Put in jars of warm hot.
Your jam is ready.
